But in 1999 the wonderful California weather and beautiful scenery soon lured Dr. Salsburg returned to her native New England to practice medicine in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Her first experience in California was as a pediatrician for a private practice in Pleasanton. In 1995 she became Board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She worked as a registrar at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia, and eventually left her glorious flat overlooking the Pacific Ocean and moved back to the U.S. Liz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Wellesley College and completed medical school and her pediatrics residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
